Postcards from Max
October 2022
” I’m currently in Germany participating in the Kronberg Cello Festival. I’m having a really, really great time here, learning so much! It’s truly an eye-opening experience. I also met so many famous and amazing professors, soloists and students. I’m also lucky to have gotten into the masterclasses with Prof Schmidt! He is so fantastic! Here are some photos of the trip so far! “, Max Wung.
The Kronberg Academy is an academy of chamber music based in Kronberg, Hesse, Germany. It was founded in 1993 by Raimund Trenkler, who has served since then as its chairman and artistic director. The academy's initial focus was on the cello and supporting young cellists, but it now trains and sponsors gifted young players of the violin, viola, and cello, and organizes a diverse range of musical projects and concerts, including an international festival of strings. - Wikipedia
