MetSO is a full symphony orchestra and welcomes string, brass, woodwind and percussion players.
We do not conduct formal auditions, but intending players are expected to have reached an appropriate standard. AMEB Grade 6 is sufficient for most players, but some more exposed positions may require a higher level of achievement.
